05Trust & safety
We never store your address
Makers place a rough pin, and we shift it before saving. There is no address column in our database — so there is nothing to leak, even by accident.
You choose what to share
Buyers see roughly which part of town a maker is in. Exact pickup details get shared by the maker, directly, once a job is agreed.
Reviews will mean something
Ratings only appear once someone has actually completed a job. Until then makers are marked new — we won't invent stars.
Early days, openly
Porchmade is new in LA. Messaging, payments and dispute handling aren't built yet, and we'd rather say so than pretend.
